Man charged with murder after allegedly running down man in Melbourne

A man has been charged with murder after allegedly running down another man in Melbourne’s west last night.
Police found the body of a 43-year-old man on Ballarat Road, Deer Park, about 9.45pm, after responding to reports of a driver behaving erratically.
A 48-year-old Melton West man was arrested at the scene and charged with murder this morning.
Detectives said the two men knew each other.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death are ongoing.
The 48-year-old man is expected to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
