Man charged with indecency on Syd trains

A 65-year-old man has been charged with committing acts of indecency on Sydney trains on two separate occasions.

Police say a woman on a train near Wollstonecraft on Sydney's lower north shore first saw the man allegedly committing acts of indecency on December 16 last year, just after 5pm (AEDT).

Another woman, who was travelling between Granville and Fairfield in Sydney's west with her family, again saw the man allegedly committing an indecent act on January 1, at about 6pm (AEDT).

The woman and her family changed carriages, and later reported the incident to police.

The man was on Thursday arrested at Narellan Police Station and charged with two counts of committing an act of indecency with a person 16 years or over.

He was refused bail and will on Friday appear before Campbelltown Local Court.
