Man charged after living, dead and rotting snakes allegedly found in car in Queensland
A Queensland man will face court after a knot of snakes, both living and dead, was allegedly found in his car.
At about 7.10pm on March 2, police pulled a car over on Woongarra Street, Bundaberg, over traffic matters.
They allegedly found 13 living snakes and 13 dead snakes "in various states of decomposition" in the car.

Most were pythons, police claim.
Police delivered the snakes to an emergency animal hospital where the living ones were treated.
The snakes have since been given to a wildlife rescue organisation.
A 22-year-old Moore Park Beach man will appear in court on April 22.
