Man charged over stolen car linked to Perth great-grandmother's suspicious death

Detectives have arrested and charged a man over the theft of a car linked to the sudden death of a Perth great-grandmother.
The body of Iris Jones, 85, was found in her Bateman home by a neighbour on Wednesday afternoon and police are treating her death as suspicious.
Her abandoned 2006 Hyundai Getz was found in an apartment block car park in Hamilton Hill yesterday, around 15 minutes’ drive away.
A 19-year-old man has been charged with aggravated burglary and stealing a motor vehicle.
No charges have been laid over Ms Jones’ death.
Friends of the woman, who had lived in the Electra Street home for around 50 years, say she had been fit and healthy in recent years.
Ms Jones visited the Burswood casino on Sunday afternoon with a female friend and was spotted near her home on Monday.
Police have not said how she died and investigations are ongoing.
