Man charged with murder after body discovered in Melbourne carpark

A man has been charged with the murder of another man in a Melbourne car park on the weekend.

The 39-year-old's body was found by a passer-by in a car park off Rollings Road in Upper Ferntree Gully on Saturday afternoon.

Paramedics tried to resuscitate the man when they arrived but were unsuccessful.

A 56-year-old Vermont man, who was charged with one count of murder on last night, will appear in Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.
