Man charged over death of kicked kitten

A man who allegedly killed a kitten by kicking and throwing it in a home in Sydney's southwest has been charged with animal cruelty.
Police say officers were called to the address in Cartwright at about 7.30pm (AEDT) on Monday to be told of the incident.
A 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with committing an act of cruelty upon an animal.

He was given strict bail conditions to attend Liverpool Local Court on February 19.
