A 38-year-old has been charged with murder after a man's body was found last night on a footpath in the Western Sydney suburb of Melonba, near Mount Druitt.

CCTV footage has captured key movements earlier in the evening before the 32-year-old's body was found by a mum walking with her two kids just before 9pm on Friday.

Police allege there was a "pre-arranged fight" in a home 700-metres from where the victim was found, with the body transported to Georgina Crescent by car.

CCTV footage showed a black car leaving the scene where the man's body was found.

The same car had been spotted at a nearby home for much of the day, where the pre-arranged fight was thought to have taken place.

After the body was left, police say the black car crashed into a parked vehicle.
