Man to face court after firearms and explosives allegedly found at Sydney home
A man will face court today after allegedly being caught with firearms, ammunition and a number of explosives in Sydney's south-east at the weekend.
The 22-year-old was arrested yesterday afternoon after becoming involved in a domestic dispute at a home on Lassiter Avenue in Chifley.
He was taken to Mascot Police Station and questioned by officers.

After subsequent inquiries, police returned to the home and conducted a search at 2pm that same day.
A black pistol and a bag containing multiple rounds of ammunition were seized at the property.
Officers also located a "suspicious case" with wires protruding out of it.
As a precaution, an evacuation was ordered and a perimeter established.
The Rescue and Bomb Disposal Unit and Raptor Squad were called to examine the suitcase, subsequently finding that it contained detonators and explosives.

Specialist police separated the items and declared they were eventually declared safe.
A crime scene was established, and police seized further items including clothing and outlaw motorcycle gang paraphernalia.
The man was charged with a number of offences.
He was refused bail and will appear at Central Local Court today.
