Man, 62, charged with attempted murder after Queensland shooting
A 62-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a major police operation south of Brisbane.
Residents were urged to stay inside when shots were fired in Logan last night, when a neighbourly dispute over dogs turned violent.
They described hearing "yelling and screaming" and two gunshots.

Clarendon Avenue in Bethania was sent into lockdown about 6pm.

"I was at a mate's place cooking a barbecue and we heard two shots or two big loud bangs," one man said.
"Police came running by, telling us to get down."
The alleged offender ran back to his home before police pounced.
Witnesses said the altercation began as an argument over barking dogs before turning violent.

The 35-year-old neighbour was rushed to hospital with gunshot wounds to his shoulder and chest.
He is now in a stable condition.
A 62-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder and acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
He'll face Beenleigh court tomorrow.
