Man charged as alleged victim remains on life support

A man remains on life support with a fractured skull following an alleged assault early yesterday morning.
Kenneth McMinn, 26, has been charged with reckless grievous bodily harm after an altercation broke out around 3.25am between a number of people in the carpark of Better Produce at Terrey Hills, in Northern Sydney.
Emergency services were called and found 43-year-old Adrian Piekus unconscious on the ground with critical head injuries.

McMinn appeared at Manly Local Court today, where it was heard the accused had consumed a significant amount of alcohol.
The court also heard Mr Piekus is unlikely to pull through.
McMinn’s application for bail was refused. He’s due back in court on March 7.
