Father and son rushed to hospital after falling from balcony
A father and his young son have been taken to hospital after falling up to four metres from a balcony at a home on Sydney's northern beaches today.
Emergency services rushed to a home on Pittwater Road at Church Point following reports a 41-year-old man and an eight-year-old boy had fallen over the balcony.
When three ambulances and multiple NSW Police vehicles arrived to the scene, the father was found unconscious and his young son was injured nearby.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the pair before the man was flown to Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.
The child was also taken to the same hospital by road.
Police officers established a crime scene at the home and investigations are continuing.
