Mum calls for action on rising drug epidemic after son bashed by ‘ice dealers’ in Sydney’s west

Spencer Wilson-Hore is fighting for his life after be confronted a gang of men his mother claims offered his sister the drug ice.

Mum Wendy Wilson has been told her son could have permanent brain damage after he was allegedly beaten in North Richmond in Sydney’s far west yesterday.

She claims Spencer and his friends went to a home in Bowen Mountain, allegedly to confront a group of men who had offered his sister ice.

Police allege a fight broke out before Spencer and his friends fled in a maxi taxi.

They were followed by a car before stopping at a North Richmond intersection, where Spencer was attacked.

“My biggest fear is that he doesn’t wake up, but he’s strong,” Ms Wilson said.

So far two 20-year-old men have been charged over the incident, with police hunting a third man.

Ms Wilson says something needs to be done to stop young lives being destroyed by the “out of control” drug epidemic.
