A man has been charged after police allegedly found meth down his pants during a roadside stop in central west New South Wales.

About 4pm on yesterday, officers stopped a driver on Wheelers Lane, Dubbo, after seeing the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.

They searched the man and allegedly found methylamphetamine hidden in his pants.
