Man charged over alleged sexual touching of paramedic

A man will face court after the alleged assault of a NSW Ambulance paramedic in Sydney last month.

Police were told paramedics were taking a man to Nepean Hospital in Sydney's west, when he allegedly threatened and sexually touched a female paramedic inside the ambulance, on Saturday, March 30.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man at a home on Melkarth Place, Doonside, at about 1.15pm yesterday.

He was charged with multiple offences.

The man was refused bail and will appear in court today.
