Man charged after security scare at Adelaide's Government House
A 55-year-old man has been charged after a security scare at Adelaide's Government House.
Police said a man attempted to enter gates of the state government building around 5.30pm yesterday, when he was confronted by the on-duty police security officer.
The man was directed to leave but allegedly refused.

A 55-year-old man has been arrested after a suspected security breach at Adelaide's Government House. Police said a member of the public attempted gain entry to the state government office through the gates when security officers tried to stop him and an altercation unfolded. 9News
Police said the man physically restrained before he was arrested.
The security officer was treated for minor injuries.
The 55-year-old man from Woodville Gardens in the city's north west was charged with being unlawfully on premises, assaulting a prescribed emergency worker and failing to comply with a direction of a protective security officer.
The man will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
