Man arrested after stabbing death in Collingwood

A man has been arrested following the stabbing death of another man in Melbourne yesterday.

Emergency services were called to Hoddle Street in Collingwood, where a man was found with upper body stab wounds just before 5pm.

Paramedics attempted to revive the man, but he died at the scene.

Homicide Squad detectives have arrested a 30-year-old Collingwood man.

He is expected to be interviewed later this morning.
