Police injured after collision with wounded driver on Gold Coast
Two police officers are in hospital after a collision involving a car driven by a stabbed man on the Gold Coast.
Emergency services were called to Anaheim Drive, Helensvale, about 1.50pm yesterday after reports of an altercation between a man and a woman.
The man allegedly suffered a non-lethal stab wound.

A man was arrested and two police officers injured after a pursuit ended in a crash on the Gold Coast. 9News
Police believe he and the woman were known to each other.
When police arrived, the man allegedly fled the scene in a car.
It was tracked to Yaun Street in Coommera, where it collided with two police vehicles before coming to a stop.

Three people were hospitalised. 9News
The 29-year-old man was arrested without incident and taken to hospital under police guard.
Two police officers sustained minor injuries in the crash and were also taken to hospital.
All three were in a stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
