Man arrested after barricading himself inside Melbourne home

A 36-year-old man has been arrested after police swarmed a home in Melbourne’s north.

Officers from the Critical Incident Response Team were called to the Florence Close home in Reservoir amid reports a man had barricaded himself inside about 11.15am.
The man remained in the home for just over an hour, before being arrested without incident about 12.30pm.
An imitation firearm was also located at the property, police have said.
Charges are yet to be laid.
