Man armed with syringe robs convenience store

A man has robbed a convenience store in Sydney’s CBD with a syringe.
CCTV showed the man entering the store on Liverpool Street and demanding cash from a staffer about 11pm.

The offender threatened the worker with a syringe and then fled the store with an unknown quantity of money.
No one was injured in the incident.
The robber remains on the run, and is described as having a Caucasian appearance, with a medium build and is clean shaven, police said.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded top and black pants.
