Man and woman arrested after alleged assault at Melbourne court
A man and woman have been arrested after allegedly assaulting protective services officers at Melbourne CBD's court precinct.
Police alleged the pair were being disruptive and removed from a court on William Street today when they assaulted the officers and fled the scene.
The officers began chasing them down the road when they allegedly lashed out for a second time.

Police said the pair, both from South Yarra, were arrested and taken to a nearby police station, where they are currently being questioned.
No officers were injured in the incident and no charges have been laid.
9News understands the man was due to face court today.
