Man arrested after allegedly pointing fake gun at Coffs Harbour drivers
A man has been arrested after allegedly pointing a replica pistol at drivers in Coffs Harbour yesterday.
Police received a number of calls from concerned motorists about 4.15pm (AEDT), the NSW Police Force said in a statement.
Drivers told police that a man was walking in the middle of Coramba Road armed with a gun.
The man, who was dressed in black and wore black sunglasses, allegedly waved the gun at passing cars.
Police tracked down a man in nearby Shephards Lane with the assistance of a police dog, and arrested him for possession of a replica pistol.
The 20-year-old man is expected to be charged over the incident.
