Major delays in Sydney's south after four car crash

There are major delays in Sydney's south tonight after a serious four car crash on the M5.
The M5 is closed eastbound after the smash occurred about 6pm near King Georges Road, Narwee.
Earlier there were reports of several people trapped in their damaged vehicles.

Eastbound motorists are being diverted off the motorway at Fairford Road and one westbound lane is also closed.
The Transport Management Centre has advised motorists to avoid the area and said westbound motorists should expect major delays.
Emergency services are still at the scene.
