New cars, construction equipment stuck at sea amid Perth's Fremantle Ports dispute
Industrial disputes causing delays at Fremantle Ports in Perth have seen goods like new cars, farming products and construction equipment stuck at sea or diverted to Melbourne.
As of today, five ships are waiting to port, while seven have been diverted to Melbourne in the past 10 days.
The delays are a result of strikes which have run for 76 days, with some now saying the issue could impact Christmas deliveries.

Logistics company Qube Holdings and the Maritime Workers Union remain trapped in a stalemate, resulting in huge backlogs at the state's main port.
The union says none of the company's workers in Fremantle have a roster and that they're forced to alternate between night, day and afternoon shifts within a week.
"We have concerns that the broader community is getting affected by this," Dan Colton from Qube said.

"If it continues on then certainly the impact is only going to get greater."
The state government has written to the Federal Industrial Relations Commissioner, asking them to step in.
"I'd urge them to be involved cause this obviously has to be resolved as soon as possible," Premier Mark McGowan said.
