Police identify body as missing Koumala woman
The body of a woman suspected to have been murdered near Mackay last month has been identified.
Police have confirmed the body found on Sunday afternoon is 31-year-old Rene Latimore, who was reported missing from the Koumala area on August 13.
They are treating her death as a suspected homicide.
Police are asking anyone who had interactions with Ms Latimore, either by phone, email or in person to come forward.

People who live in the Koumala and Ilbilbie areas with relevant CCTV, dash cam vision or relevant information regarding the movement of vehicles or people in the area around the dates of August 8 to August 11.
