Machete-wielding woman robs Sydney store

A woman has been charged after she allegedly threatened staff with a machete during a robbery at a supermarket on Sydney's north shore.
Staff at the Rangers Road, Neutral Bay store confronted the woman when she started stealing items from a service counter at about 6.30pm Tuesday, police say.
A 31-year-old woman has been charged with a string of offences including larceny, assault and being armed with intent to rob. She is due to face Central Local Court on Wednesday.
