Machete-wielding bandit robs Logan store

A machete-wielding bandit has made off with cash after holding up a food store south of Brisbane.

The robber entered the store on Bryants Road at Loganholme about 4.50am on Thursday, police said.

A female store clerk handed cash over to the thief, who was armed with a large machete.

The robber then fled the store.

No one was injured in the hold up, and police are investigating.
