Truck collision sent car spinning on busy Sydney highway

A speeding truck on a busy Sydney highway struck a car before careering across the median strip on to the other side .

The dramatic crash captured on dashcam video by a motorist early on Wednesday morning happened on the M5 motorway, near Ingleburn.

It begins with footage of the busy morning commute on the multi lane highway. But then seconds later a white truck with its brake lights on suddenly crosses from the middle lane into the outer one, clipping a black car.

The impact of the collision sends the car spinning with its body clearly dented.

Meanwhile, the truck races across the central reservation onto the other side of the highway.

It smashes into cars going the other way before coming to a halt.

It was reported no one was seriously injured.
