Traffic backed up 10km after six-car crash on Sydney motorway
Half the citybound lanes closed ahead of peak hour on a major Sydney motorway this morning after a six-car pile-up.
The nose-to-tail crash took place at about 5.50am on the M5 at Edmondson Park in the city's south-west.
Two of the four citybound lanes were closed, but have now reopened.

Traffic backed up 10km to Narellan Road at Mount Annan guaranteeing a long trip into the city for commuters from the south-west.
One person was injured and taken to hospital from the crash.
Commuters are advised to allow extra travel time this morning.
