Aussie quick Mitchell Johnson has drawn first blood on the final day of the Adelaide Test, snaring the wicket of opener Shikhar Dhawan.

The Aussies will need to bowl the visitors out today to claim outright victory.

Lyon claimed a five-wicket haul in the first innings, and he will have to repeat his heroics today.

Opener David Warner helped put Australia on the verge of victory after scoring his second century of the match yesterday.

Tempers flared on the pitch after he was bowled from a no-ball, with words exchanged between Warner and bowler Varun Aaron.

Warner's innings added to a great year for the talented batsman.

He has scored more than 1000 runs in 2014, making him the fourth-highest run scorer in the world for the year.
