Longer support plans for NDIS participants

Australians on the National Disability Insurance Scheme will soon be able to stay on plans for up to three years.

Changes announced on Monday are designed for participants whose support needs are unlikely to change.

"A longer plan duration means participants can carry on accessing supports without needing to go through frequent plan reviews and can plan for longer term goals," NDIS Minister Stuart Robert said in a statement.
