Thief caught on camera raiding Logan home on New Year’s Eve

A thief has taken off with tens of thousands of dollars' worth of goods from a home in Logan on New Year’s Eve.

The burglar attempted to bash his way into the home at Buccan in Logan's south, before helping himself to a soft drink from an outdoor fridge and then using his car to ram his way into the house.

Security cameras show the intruder hauling goods into his car.

Over half an hour, the thief stole iPads, jewellery, work tools, a drone, and kids' Christmas presents.

Brent Thomas said he and his fiancé Michelle were still going through their possessions and discovering items missing.

Ipswich man Gareth Moller is wanted for questioning over the robbery.
