Police investigating suspicious death of baby in Logan

A baby has died in suspicious circumstances in Logan.

Police say the four-month-old girl was taken to the Logan Hospital with life-threatening injuries on Monday.

She was then transported to the Queensland Children’s Hospital where she died yesterday afternoon.

A 35-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man are assisting police.

Detectives from the Homicide Squad as well as the Child Trauma squad and Child Protection are investigating.
