Liberals open to Greens 'tactic' talks

A key Liberal party official says the Greens may receive preferences where it has a "tactical" benefit for the Turnbull government.
Victorian Liberal president Michael Kroger said on Thursday it was unlikely there would be any formal deals with the Greens ahead of the federal election but "loose arrangements" were possible.
"You may do these things for tactical reasons, not because we agree with the Greens' policies," Mr Kroger told Sky News.
