Lambie too thick to worry about: Bernardi

Outspoken Liberal senator Cory Bernardi has likened independent senator Jacquie Lambie to an episode of "Dumb and Dumber" after she described him as an "angry prostitute" during a debate in the upper house last week.

He says there's an inherent dignity in being a senator, but he doesn't think Senator Lambie has demonstrated that.

"I think she is too thick to pay any attention to," Senator Bernardi told Sly News on Sunday.
