Lambie accuses Libs of stealing policy

Independent senator Jacqui Lambie has accused the Liberals of stealing her policy of cracking down on Australians who engaged with terrorist groups overseas.
Liberal MP Andrew Nikolic has called for law changes to strip terrorist-associated Australians of the right to vote and access welfare.
Senator Lambie, in a statement on Wednesday, said that was an idea she presented to the upper house seven months ago along with bringing back the death penalty for convicted terrorists who have killed Australians.
