Labor supports nuclear waste dump proposal

The federal government's move to find a site for a low-level nuclear waste dump has deep bipartisan support, Labor says.
Opposition resources spokesman Gary Gray slammed as "hysterical" some of the reporting of the issue, saying the announcement of six proposed locations was "measured and thoughtful".
"We have an obligation to properly store this material, to do it in a way that's well managed and to find the right location," he told Sky News on Friday.
