Labor's plan to reduce house prices:Joyce

Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce says if Labor's plan to curb negative gearing makes housing more affordable then it will also reduce the value of properties which people already own.

Those with a mortgage could suddenly find the value of their home is less than the money they borrowed from the bank.

"There are two sides to every coin," Mr Joyce told Sky News on Sunday.
