Labor calls PM to answer Senate questions
AAP
Labor is calling on the prime minister to front parliament and explain what the government knew about the constitutionality of Senate numbers.
Manager of opposition business Tony Burke on Monday moved a motion that requires Malcolm Turnbull to provide a "full and honest" account, demanding answers on how long the government had known there were questions about the composition of the upper house.
"This parliament is in a shambles - the Senate, they don't know who should be there," Mr Burke told parliament.
