Kylie says 'epiphany' brought her home

Kylie Minogue has revealed she had an "epiphany" about changing her life which led to her decision to come back to Australia for The Voice.

Melbourne dad Harry Healy's rendition of the Dire Straits song, Romeo and Juliet, had three judges turn their chairs on Tuesday night's episode.

But it was Minogue who seemed most touched by the performance.

She said she could understand how the 56-year-old felt after he explained he'd come on the show to pursue "new opportunities".

"I think I can relate to where you're at. Last year I had an epiphany," she told Healy.

"Nothing had gone wrong with my situation, everything had gone right for 25 years."

She said she had a "vision of a new landscape" and wanted to try something fresh.

"That's one of the reasons why I've come home and I'm on this show," the popstar revealed.

Her candid comment gives new hope to local fans that the singer might be sticking around for a while.
