Kyle Sandilands reveals ‘terrifying’ attempted molestation as a child

Radio personality Kyle Sandilands has revealed that he was a victim to a potential child sex predator during a family holiday when he was a child.

Sandilands said he was on Bribie Island in Queensland fishing off a boat with a trusted family friend when a man made inappropriate advances.

"He asked me to come back to his caravan to watch an (adult film)," he said on the Kyle and Jackie O Show.

“I swam back to the beach, terrified. It was attempted molestation.”

Sandilands’ mother has since confirmed the report, stating that she remembered the story.

“Chris, Kyle's brother, said the same fellow wanted to go fishing and Kyle told me to ‘not let him anywhere near this man’” she said.

“When I asked him why, he revealed what had happened to him.”
