Korea is going nuts for Australian macadamias.
Foreign Minister Julie Bishop told a business leaders summit that tariffs on her "favourite food" had fallen from 30 per cent to 18 per cent since an Australian free trade deal with Korea came into force.
Australian exporters were capitalising on a macadamia nut boom to Korea with sales rising year to date to $7 million, four times as much during the same period last year.
