Knox Grammar swim coach charged over allegedly possessing child abuse images
A swimming coach at exclusive Sydney private school Knox Grammar has face court, accused of possessing child abuse images and drugs.
Nicholas Warby was arrested yesterday afternoon after a colleague allegedly found child abuse material on a mobile phone which was left behind at the school's pool in Wahroonga.
The 30-year-old was taken to Hornsby Police Station where he was charged with two counts of possessing child abuse material, and two counts of possess prohibited drug.

In a letter to parents, headmaster Scott James said Warby had been "removed from his duties at the aquatic centre" and "there is currently no suggestion that the images relate to Knox boys or swim centre students".
"The images were immediately brought to the attention of the Headmaster and police were alerted," he said.
"Knox Grammar School is now recognised as the gold standard for protection of those in our care and we will not hesitate to contact police and remove staff who fail to follow our Code of Conduct and the law."
Police also executed a warrant and seized a number of electronic devices which are in the process of being examined.

Police also allege substances, which they believe to be ice and GHB, were found during a search of the coach's car.
In court today, Warby was granted strict conditional bail to live at his parent's Bayview home and not access the internet, social media or any smart devices.
He will next appear before the judge on August 27.
