Baby strollers sold at Target and Kmart face urgent recall

Baby strollers sold at Target and Kmart are facing a nationwide urgent recall due to a significant fault in the stroller's rear axle.

There are fears that any default with the stroller's wheels or frame could lead to the structure snapping and breaking, resulting in serious risk of injury to a toddler.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission issued the recall on Tuesday, which applies to several models of CNP brand strollers sold between 30 September, 2019 and 21 February, 2020.

The affected models are the Childcare Stroller Grey, Childcare Soho Stroller Black and Childcare Zeke Stroller Navy.

Anyone who has purchased a stroller in between the times listed is urged to check the model, and if it is a product listed above, immediately contact CNP Brands to arrange a replacement or to have the stroller repaired.
