US pop star Katy Perry has announced she would be open to collaborating with fellow singer and arch-nemesis Taylor Swift, but only if the latter said "sorry".
A fan took to Twitter earlier today to ask Perry, "will you collaborate with Taylor Swift?"
"If she says sorry, sure!" the "California Gurls" singer replied, sending the Twitter-verse into overdrive.
More than 30,000 Twitter users reacted to the post with a like or retweet.
Swift confirmed she was "straight-up enemies" with Perry during a 2014 interview with Rolling Stone magazine.
"She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me," Swift said.
"We're just straight-up enemies."
Perry later cryptically responded to the "Shake It Off" singer’s tell-all with a reference to the antagonist of the film Mean Girls.
