Khloe Kardashian under fire for KKK Facebook joke

‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ reality TV star Khloe Kardashian caused a stir on social media after she posted a joke referring to the Ku Klux Klan on her social media accounts.

Khloe posted a meme on her Facebook and Instagram account making fun of the Kardashian sisters’ dating history, comparing their love lives to the KKK’s racial tolerance.

The outspoken sister removed the post several hours later from her social media accounts after receiving criticism but Kourtney’s boyfriend Scott Disick, who also posted it, has kept the meme on his Instagram account which has received almost half a million ‘likes’.

‘Lord Disick’ posted the photo of the Kardashian sisters all dressed in white with the words ‘The only KKK to ever let black men in’ and captioned the photo adding ‘And a Jew’, referring to himself.

Khloe was married to African American NBA player Lamar Odom for four years before divorcing him late last year; and her sister Kim Kardashian is currently married to American rapper Kanye West.

Kardashian fans took to Twitter to discuss their varying opinions with some suggesting she should apologise and others questioning if it was racist or offensive.

Khloe is not the only Kardashian sister to be trending online with the controversy surrounding the meme threatening to steal the limelight from Kim Kardashian’s latest naked photo shoot, which has also attracted a huge amount of attention on social media.

Images of Kim with her nude backside on full display for Paper magazine with the cover reading ‘Break the Internet’ were released on the same afternoon.
