Only in Australia, mate: Daredevil kangaroo filmed leaping into busy traffic

A very brave kangaroo has been filmed hurling itself over a busy road and passing motorbike.

In the footage, the roo suddenly appears from a clearing on the side of the road before leaping out into traffic and narrowly missing the red motorbike rider who managed to capture the incident.

The vision was uploaded onto YouTube by user LugoFezz who wrote said the heart-stopping incident occurred in Victoria on Wednesday morning.

"Riding up Plenty Rd through a built up area of South Morang is not where you expect a Kangaroo to go all suicidal on your motorcycle," he wrote.

It is not known where the kangaroo was travelling to or if it survived its perilous foray into traffic.
