Journo surprised by student's t-shirt answer

Sky News journalist Peter van Onselen stumbled into risky territory yesterday when he asked a student what was written on her shirt during an interview about protests against the Budget. 

The protest leader's shirt was partially obscured by a v-neck jumper, and Van Onselen's curiosity got the better of him.

"Your t-shirt. What does it say?" he asked.

"Um… It says 'F--- Tony Abbott'," replied his interview subject.

It's not the first time such a shirt has caused controversy. In September last year, Macquarie University students selling the t-shirts were threatened with arrest, according to reports from the Star Observer.
