John Travolta can't stop ex-pilot's tell-all lawsuit

John Travolta's former pilot has won the right to make his case in court that he has no confidentiality obligations to the Hollywood actor and is free to talk about their alleged six-year gay affair in the 1980s.

Doug Gotterba was slapped with a cease and desist order from Travolta's lawyers after he first told his story to the National Enquirer in 2012.

The lawyers argued that a confidentiality agreement he signed as an employee of the star's airline company, Alto, prevented him from speaking out.

But Gotterba argued that agreement as not authentic, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Yesterday California Appeals judge Arthur Gilbert court found in favour of Gotterba, allowing him to argue his claims in court.

Gotterba reportedly hopes to write a tell-all book about his experience.
