Liberal MP John Alexander set to resign
Federal Liberal MP John Alexander has announced his resignation after confirming he is a dual citizen.
Alexander's father was born in the UK and never renounced his citizenship, meaning the MP is a dual-British citizen by descent.
He is the second Lower House Coalition MP to resign over the citizenship debacle.
