Jerry Seinfeld announces first Australian tour in nearly two decades

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is set to make his way down under, announcing an Australian tour for late next year.
The 62-year-old funny man behind the wildly successful Seinfeld series will be gracing audiences in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth in August 2017.
The tour marks Seinfeld’s first Australian tour since 1998 when he performed just two shows in Melbourne and Sydney.
“Australia may be far in miles but I feel very close to the people because of our mutual comedy connection,” Seinfeld said in a statement.
“I couldn’t be more excited about seeing everyone there again.”
